We loaded up the car Saturday and headed up to Bryson City, NC to ride the Polar Express. It was a pretty drive through the mountains and both boys were good in the car. Our train left at 5 and we rode for about 30 minutes to the "North Pole" (a bunch of houses decorated with lights) and then Santa boarded the train and we headed back. So it was about an hour trip and we had hot chocolate and a treat and we sang Christmas carols. We all had such a good time and will definitely make it a family tradition.

Jeff and Lucas in the train museum. There was free admission with your Polar Express ticket so we did this before we boarded our train. It was so cool and of course Lucas loved seeing all the trains.

Brice had such a good time. I was worried he might get bored but he loved it. He loved all the music and drinking hot chocolate! He was such a good, happy boy!

Lucas enjoying his hot chocolate. Jeff is excited about using these mugs as travel coffee cups!

The conductor punching the boys tickets.

There's nothing wrong with a little hot chocolate in a sippy cup! Brice was chugging it!

Santa came aboard and handed out silver bells!

Thumbs up!

Why is Jeffrey wearing my hat? Christopher asked the same question,"why is Jeff wearing his hat?"
