Snow, Round 2

We are getting used to snow down here in the south! Last week they started predicting snow for Sunday night and Monday and were comparing it to a big snow we got back in 1988. You never know but Jeff and I stocked up on groceries and were prepared just in case. Sure enough, the snow came and it came hard. Way more than on Christmas. We woke up Monday morning and everything was covered and snow was still falling hard!
Our house Monday morning
Playground
Who wants to cook out??
After breakfast and when Jeff realized he was not going to be able to go to work, we headed outside! Brice is not a fan of snow!
Lucas has seen so much snow in his short life!!
Playing in the backyard
Exploring
It was about 5.5 inches!
Thumbs up from Jeff!
The wrestling begins...

So fun!
Jeff's brother had told him to sled on a boogie board. It was much better than the storage container tops we used for the Christmas snow.Jeff loves to give a thumbs up when having his pic taken! Its his signature move.
Our house when the snow finally stopped
The sun is out today and the snow is slowly beginning to melt. Thank the lord. It was fun and all on Monday but I like the typical SC snows where it snows one day and is gone the next. Jeff went to work yesterday around 10 and got home a little early. He went this morning around 8. Some roads aren't great but we were getting cabin fever and went to the Y this morning when it opened at 11. The boys had Friday and Monday off anyways for MLK day so they don't go back to school until next Wednesday. AHHHH. We will be frequenting the Y very regularly to give them something to do.
We have loved all the snow but now we are ready for Spring! Nana and Poppy, I don't know how you do it!! :)

Fun times!! Poor Brice wasn't having it. There was just too much for them to walk around in it.

We have been cooped up in this house since Saturday and we are going crazy!!! Ready for the girls to feel better so we can get out!! It will do us all good.

Maybe if we are better come Monday we can get together.

which ever brother thought of using a boogie board must be brilliant.
