Brice was baptized Sunday and it was such a blessed day. My grandmother made this gown 60 years ago for my mom and uncle to be baptized. Since then, my brothers and I, my cousins, Elizabeth, Lucas, and now Brice have worn the gown to be baptized. What a special tradition! Brice was so well behaved. There was another family who had two children being baptized and neither child was very happy. With children, you just never know! After church, we went back to my mom and dad's house and had a yummy lunch of barbecue, baked beans, slaw, fruit, and chocolate chip pound cake.
Brice would make a pretty girl! :)
Lucas behaved well too but didn't do exactly what I wanted him to do. I wanted him to stand at the front of the church with us but when we got up there, he said, "I don't want to stand up here", and proceeded to march back to the front row and sit down by himself. When the minister said, "Will the congregation please stand", he stood up like he was supposed to. It was so funny. Better to be well behaved on the front row by himself than kicking and screaming at the front of the church with us.

Mom and Dad were great hosts! Dad slipped into something more comfortable after church, Lucas' favorite wildcat T-Shirt!! :)
